Construction Details

PLEASE NOTE: The following downloadable details are grouped by condition type (low eaves, high eaves, rakes, etc.) for your convenience. Each individual detail's application is described in the left-hand column and detail numbers in the right-hand columns. You will also find that the details are specific to the new roof profile that is being installed over the existing roof type. For example: A low eave detail with a new Trapezoidal SSR roof installed over an existing R-Panel roof has an identifying numerical suffix of “T-R” (Trapezoidal over R-Panel). Any detail with a “G” suffix is a generic condition.

Roof Hugger Sub-framing details are never intended to replace details recommended by the metal roof manufacturer or designer of record. For specific metal roof flashing, trim and fastening requirements, refer to your metal roof manufacturer or project designer of record for their specific project details, specifications and practices.
